obfuscation n : confusion resulting from failure to understand [syn: bewilderment, puzzlement, befuddlement, mystification, bafflement, bemusement]
Humans have limited knowledge of their galaxy. Collectively they do not trust members of their own species. Consequently, they are unable to compile information about alien contacts and sightings. In the middle 356th Galaxian Era (a.k.a. the late twentieth and early twenty-first century), there was a change amongst portions of the human race. These humans felt a need to make a concerted effort to detect alien life and thus the SETI@home project was initiated.
It's a simple fact that most aliens are free to observe humans as often as they wish because humans are generally too busy to notice!! The following movie (a form of media popular during the 356th Galaxian Era a.k.a. the Twentieth Century) is a sample of homo sapien humor, one of the many complex emotions. How they managed to get a clip of I'Shza's mishap on the B'edsuhlyvan Show is unknown?!? Apparently it was left during a temporal visit by her agent (who was looking for new songs) Why they find this humorous is even a bigger mystery. Humor is a mystery. Maybe someday we'll know the answer. Maybe someday they will cease to obfuscate....
